I love the Tracker it really helps keeping organized! The extension is great and makes it easy to add jobs to the tracker. But the AI tool, I wish it wouldn't jump in my face all the time. I am applying to jobs in English, Dutch and German. The cover letters and cvs the AI tool gives me never match the language of the job add. My improved CV always adds " SKILLS" even though I already have them (just you know in another language). I also got cover letters address to random people. I do not know if they worked at that company, but they were not the contact person for the application. Oh and this was funny, 1 application mentioned staff BBQ's and the AI tool thought I had to add BBQ to skills...

One thing I’d love to see improved is easier methods to see and/or add contacts as a separate peer page to the others in the left menu. So far I am loving Huntr. Why? The AI does a great job tailoring my resume to the job. Saves me hours! I like that I can upload documents, like resumes, I sent before using Huntr so that I can track them all in one place. The only improvement I would make is having a link for the job board on the main page left hand menu. I had no idea what the job board (kanban) was, or where it was. It caused some confusion because I was using the application hub to track jobs and couldn't figure out how to change the application status. AhHa! it is done in the job board. I love the Kanban approach so please don't take that away. I would put it right on the first page you look at. Thanks for building a great product!

I have been using Huntr to manage my job search, and while it has some strong features, it falls short in a few key areas. I haven't used the autofill function yet, so this review focuses on the resume and cover letter tools. The Good: The tool does a great job of tailoring my resume and cover letter to match specific job descriptions. It is also very good at identifying analytical bullets within my experience, which is helpful for highlighting impact. The Bad: I expected the process to be much more automated. My biggest frustration is the formatting; the tool constantly forces Em or En dashes, which I don't like. I also ran into embarrassing issues where the AI left placeholders like "(insert hiring manager's name)" in the text, which I missed several times before sending. What’s Missing: For a paid tool, I wish it were smarter about editing. It doesn’t help you shorten your resume to a desired 2-page length, nor does it suggest which past experiences to remove if they aren't relevant to the specific role. Finally, while it identifies analytical bullets, it doesn't actually offer suggestions to create "X, Y, Z" style metrics, which limits its usefulness.
It is really helpful for me to track my job application status. I can easily see my success rate in job hunting process.

It's not the greatest feature because it needs more work. It doesn't always pick up on the job or know how to auto fill but its best feature when it does pull data from the correct company (about 60% of the time) it is good a going directly into resume tailoring and saving the job. Like I said. Still needs a little work but works okay. Is huntr hiring? lol
